BAAM Book Release Events

A Reading. A Conversation. A Shared Inquiry.

BAAM gatherings are opportunities to be in conversation with each other as artists, creators and cultural architects.

Each gathering begins with a welcome. The host introduces Olubode, and a brief passage from the book opens the evening’s question. Olubode then interviews two or three local artists, exploring their work through the manifesto’s ideas, before the conversation widens and the room responds with its own inquiry. A brief breathing or reflective experience brings everyone back together. The encounter continues afterward, with signing, artifact acquisition and time to meet one another.
